This is one of our favorite hometown restaurants. The food is great, cooked to order, and always arrives hot and ready to eat. They have anything from sandwiches to full meals--my favorite is the grilled pork chop dinner, and hubby likes the oink and cluck--bbq chicken and ribs. Their grilled pork tenderloin and Reuben sandwiches are very tasty. The chicken livers are a good choice as well, if you like that type of thing. It is slightly off the beaten path, but well worth going to. Prices are reasonable and the service is good. I would recommend it to anyone! We usually eat there once a month or more.
This place has never disappointed me. The food is good and the choices are many. I'm partial to the Carnivore Special, the chicken livers, and the seafood platter. Prices are decent and the servings are generous.
This is one of the best local places in town. It is on Main st right off Hwy 65, it is a little off the beaten path, so you might need to ask a local for directions. I have never had a bad dish here. I like the cowboy chips, you can't eat just one. My favorites are the cat fish, dead chicken sandwich, tenderloin sandwich, well like I said everything is good. They have a half portion meals on the menu, my hubby said only I would be excited about that;-) their soda and ice tea prices are great, it just burns me to pay over $2.00 for iced tea. The only bad thing is they still allow smoking, come Sept the city will become no smoking in public, Yea! I can't wait.
Local hotel recommended this restaurant as a great local place to eat. Very pleased to say they were right! I ordered 1/2 rack of BBQ ribs - the meat was juicy and tender and fell right off the bone. Sides were tasty and complemented the meal well. Nice, pleasant server who was attentive and courteous. Authentic steakhouse décor was entertaining to look at. Good job folks!
